Current information regarding COVID-19
we have been in quarantine in Fiss for 1.5 weeks. Safety and health are of course a top priority and it is a good thing that each and every one of us can contribute our small but important part!
We are now all the more looking forward to the summer season! We are in good spirits and assume that our hotel will open as planned on June 11th, 2020 and that the current situation will have been eased again thanks to the measures taken.
Due to the current uncertainties many of you understandably still have concerns about the summer holidays already booked. Therefore we would like to inform you about our procedure in this exceptional situation:
- If the hotel will still be closed during your booked travel period, no cancellation fees are due.
- Usually bookings can be canceled free of charge up to 3 months before arrival (according to AGBH); after that, cancellation fees apply. Due to the current situation we offer the special regulation that your summer booking can be canceled free of charge until May 15th, 2020.
- We will follow the situation in detail and then adapt our regulations flexibly to the corresponding situation.

As a drastic precautionary measure to curb the spread of the corona virus, the state of Tyrol, together with representatives of the Tyrolean tourism, surprisingly made the decision this evening that all cable cars in Tyrol will have their last day of operation on Saturday, March 14th 2020 and all accommodations have to close their doors on Monday, March 16th 2020. Our hotel already closes on Sunday, March 15th 2020.
Even though there has not been any confirmed coronavirus case in our region Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis so far, we need to inform you that we have to cancel your holidays with us this winter (free of charge). Bookings for the summer are not affected.
If you have made a bank deposit, we will retransfer your deposit to the specified bank account. If you have paid your deposit by credit card, we kindly ask you to provide us with your credit card details or your bank account details for the refund. We already sent you a mail with the corresponding information.
We are very sorry that you cannot spend your holidays as planned and would be happy to welcome you at our Hotel Fisserhof another time.
